Refund Policy

Last updated: 2025

1. Overview

1.1 This Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to all digital content and related services purchased through the platform operated by HanFlow International Limited (“HanFlow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1.2 HanFlow provides digital content focused on lifestyle learning and personal experience rooted in traditional Chinese culture, including but not limited to online courses, video materials, and subscription-based services.

1.3 Due to the nature of digital products that are delivered immediately upon purchase and grant instant access, specific refund rules apply. Please review this Policy carefully before completing any purchase.

2. General Refund Policy

2.1 Single Course Purchases (One-Time Fee)

  • Refund Principle:
  • Upon successful payment, single-course content is immediately unlocked and permanently accessible online. As a result, single course purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been granted, except under the limited circumstances described in Section 3 of this Policy.
  • Purchase Recommendation:
  • We strongly encourage users to review course descriptions, previews, or sample content carefully before making a purchase decision.

2.2 Subscription Services (Auto-Renewal)

  • Auto-Renewal Management:
  • Subscription auto-renewal may be cancelled at any time through your account settings. Cancellation prevents future charges but does not result in a refund for the current billing period.
  • Current Period Fees:
  • Fees charged for the current subscription period are non-refundable, regardless of usage, partial usage, or inactivity during that period.
  • Free Trials (If Offered):
  • If a free trial is provided, no charges will be applied provided that auto-renewal is cancelled before the trial period ends.

3. Special Circumstances & Refund Eligibility

3.1 Technical Failure Exception

Refunds may be considered only in the event of a major technical failure attributable solely to the HanFlow platform that meets all of the following conditions:

  • The purchased digital content is completely inaccessible; and
  • The inaccessibility persists for more than 72 consecutive hours after purchase; and
  • The issue is not caused by user-side factors.

3.2 Refund Request Requirements

To be eligible for consideration, refund requests must:

  • Be submitted during the service interruption or within 7 business days after the issue has been resolved;
  • Include a valid order number and sufficient information describing the access issue.

3.3 Explicitly Excluded Situations

Refunds will not be granted in the following circumstances:

  • Access issues caused by user-side factors, including but not limited to personal internet connectivity, device compatibility, browser limitations, or system settings;
  • Change of mind, accidental purchase, limited usage, or failure to achieve expected or desired personal outcomes;
  • Dissatisfaction based on language preference, cultural interpretation, presentation style, or personal taste;
  • Requests submitted outside a reasonable timeframe or without sufficient supporting information;
  • Any circumstances unrelated to a verified technical failure of the HanFlow platform.
